KANDAHAR CITY (PAN): Security forces found and seized an explosives-laden motorcycle parked in front of a hospital in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Friday.
The bomb-rigged bike was seized in front of the Mirwais Civil Hospital in Kandahar City on Thursday evening, the governor’s spokesman, Javed Faisal, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Two New Zealand workers with the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) were slightly injured after they ran to flee the hospital fearing a bomb blast.
No arrest could be made in connection with the explosives.
