LASHKARGAH (PAN): Seven civilians were wounded on Tuesday as a result of twin blasts in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province, officials said.
Two explosives-laden motorised rickshaws exploded at around 9:30am when a convoy of security personnel was passing the area, the police spokesman said.
Farid Ahmad told Pajhwok Afghan News the security personnel suffered no casualties in the explosion, but four passers-by were wounded.
But a doctor on duty at the Emergency Hospital said they had received seven injured people, including three children. They wounded were in stable condition, he added.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the explosions.
