In Kunar, cross-border attacks continue
ASADABAD (PAN): At least 169 artillery shells were fired from Pakistan into Dangam and Sarkano districts of eastern Kunar province over the past 24 hours, an official said on Saturday, two days after Kabul lodged a complaint with the UNSC over the shelling.
The latest in a volley of missile, rocket and artillery shelling by the Pakistani forces hit border villages, said Governor Syed Fazlullah Wahidi.
He said residents suffered properly losses in the attack, but no life loss was reported.
Over the past few months, a dozen people have been killed and scores of others wounded in the across border attacks that forced into migration hundreds of families.
