Children killed in Farah roadside bombing
FARAH CITY (PAN) Two children were killed and four others injured in a roadside explosion in the provincial capital of Farah late Wednesday afternoon, an officials said on Thursday.
Abdur Rahman Zhwanday, a spokesman for the Farah governor, said the blast occurred in the First District of Farah City, the provincial capital.
The Improvised explosives device, detonated by remote control, was aimed at a police vehicle but went off after the vehicle passed the area, he added.
