KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): An Afghan national who went missing 10 months ago in Kolkata city, India, was found dead.

The Times of India newspaper reported that the victim, Esa Khan’s body was discovered on the second floor of an abandoned cinema hall in the city.

The 37-year-old Khan was reported missing since 22nd January.

Details are sketchy and it is unclear whether Khan died of natural causes or there was foul play in his death. Indian police have launched a probe into the case.

However, Abdul Jabar, the victim’s cousin, told police that Khan was murdered by unknown people.
