Colombo Plan-funded training centre for ex-drug users
A Public Health Ministry official Dr. Fawad Osmani said some 500 ex-narcotic dependents would be trained in carpentry, tailoring, tiles making and carpet weaving in the centre for duration of six months.
The seventh training centre would be located at the Ministry of Martyrs, Disabled, Labours and Social Affairs near Shah Du Shamshera mosque in Kabul, said Osmani.
He said there were six similar training centres in Kabul and 53 such outfits across the country.
