Herat Jihadi commanders distribute weapons to units (Video)

HEART (PAN): Led by Afghan Water and Energy minister Muhammad Ismail Khan, Jihadi Council commenced distributing weapons among its members in western Herat province, an official said on Wednesday.

Spokesman of the Herat Governor House, Mahiuddin Noori, showing a signed piece of paper with the Jihadi Council’s appointment of a commander, told reporters that the distribution process of weapons was started by the Jihadi Counil.

The process begun after Muhammad Ismail Khan, addressing a huge gathering of Jihadi commanders last week, announced to re-form mujahideen council after the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan by the end of 2014 to hold security responsibility of the country.
