Parwan deputy Taliban shadow governor killed

District police chief Abdul Rehman Sarjung confirmed the militants death, including the deputy shadow governor Attaullah, in a military operation.

The operation was conducted by the International Security Assistance Force and Afghan military force. Troops also seized heavy weapons from the dead militants.

Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesman, said that during the two hours clash, four of the movement’s fighters and eleven security personnel were killed.
