KABUL): Representatives from Afghan government, political and military oppositions will participate in the next month’s gathering in France, officials said on Saturday.

The opinions of Afghan government, political and military opposition parties would be exchanged  during the France meeting this month, a member of high peace council Shahzada Shahid, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Four members of the national front including Dr. Abdulllah Abdullah were invited to participate in the gathering, but Abullah would not participate in the meeting due to his busyness, the spokesman of the political opposition, Fazal Rahman Orya, said.

It was the third gathering  organized by French government while the first meeting was conducted few months ago, he said adding representatives from Hezb-i-Islami were also invited to exchange their opinions regarding peace and stability and some other issues in Afghanistan.

Head of political affairs of the HIA, Dr. Ghairat Baheer, said that three members of their party would participate in the gathering. The meeting was organized by the French government and different issues of Afghanistan would be discussed in the gathering.

During a press conference, Karzai said in response to a query that Afghan government supports the struggles which create inter-Afghan understanding. But, he hoped Taliban, political opposition and government officials to conduct peace talks inside Afghanistan, because it is the proper place for Afghan talks.
