HERAT CITY (PAN): Three civilians were killed in a roadside bombing on the Herat-Kandahar highway in Bakwa district of western Farah province, an official said on Monday.

The overnight blast hit a car that was on its way from Kabul to Herat, western zone police spokesman, Abdul Rauf Ahmadi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He blamed the militants for planting the bomb to target foreign forces. The dead included the driver.
