3 rebels killed in ISAF airstrike
JALALABAD (PAN): Three militants were killed and two others wounded in an airstrike by the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in the Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province on Wednesday, an official said.
Anwarul Haq Haqiq, a resident of the area, said the raid caused no civilian casualty. A man named Mubarez was killed and three of his associates were wounded.
But Dr. Noor Agha, in charge of the district clinic, said they had received no wounded men so far.
Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for Taliban, acknowledged the loss of a fighter in the strike. Two others were wounded, he said.
