13 injured as bus collides with ISAF vehicle
KABUL (PAN): Thirteen people were injured when a passenger bus collided with vehicle in a convoy of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in the northern province of Samangan, officials said on Monday.
The incident took place around noon when in the Robatak area on the Aibak-Pul-i-Khumri highway, the deputy police chief, Lt. Col. Musadiqullah Muzaffari, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the wounded civilians were rushed to a nearby hospital. However, the official would not comment on their condition.
But witness Rahimullah said that two women were among the injured and four of them were in critical condition.
Meanwhile, ISAF media office confirmed the incident, saying that only one civilian was slightly injured. “No coalition members were injured during the accident. An investigation is ongoing.”
