MAHMOOD RAQI (PAN): A district chief was gunned down in central Kapisa province on Tuesday morning, an official said.
Syed Mushataq Sadaat, the Hesa-i-Dom district’s administrative head, came under fire from unidentified assailants in his village.
Three suspects had been detained in connection with the murder, Qais Qadiri, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Col. Abdul Hamid, the district police chief, Sadaat was strangulated and shot in the head. His body was taken to Ali Baba capital, Mahmood raqi.
