2 militants wearing women’s clothes held

GHAZNI CITY (PAN’s clothes detained during an operation in the southern province of Ghazni, an official said on Tuesday.

The operation was conducted by Afghan security personnel in the Khan Zamankhel area of Aab Band district on Tuesday morning, Ghazni’s deputy police chief told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Col. Mohammad Hussain said two fighters, including a local commander, Asad Kuchai, were killed and two others wearing women’s clothes detained during the operation.

But a Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, spurned the claim as groundless. He said no operation had been conducted in the district.
