Kabul University to award PhD in literature

KABUL said on Saturday.

Obaidullah Obaid told a press conference in Kabul the doctorate facility would benefit students of Pasto and Dari Faculties. He hailed it as a big achievement for the country.

His ministry planned to introduce a programme for awarding polytechnic doctorate degrees in near future, Obaid said, stopping short of giving further details.

Chancellor of Kabul University Habibullah Habib welcomed the decision and hoped such initiatives would help Afghanistan emerge as a nation that set store by promoting education.
