Karzai condoles Saudi king over prince’s death

KABUL): President Hamid Karzai on Monday issued a statement extending his condolences to Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz over the passing away of his half-brother Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz, the governor of Riyadh.

Prince Sattam died on Tuesday at the age of 72. “I and the people of Afghanistan express our deepest sympathies and offer condolences to your Majesty, the royal family and the brotherly Saudi nation over the death of your brother, Prince Sattam.”

Karzai also wished the King continued health.
