PC head escapes unhurt in Kapisa attack

 MAHMOOD RAQI (PAN): The provincial council head, Mohammad Hussain Sanjani on Thursday escaped unhurt in a remote-controlled bomb attack in Mahmood Raqi, the capital of central Kapisa province, an official said.

The incident took place at around 10am in the Mullahkhel village on the outskirts of Mahmood Raqi, where Sanjani was on the way to his office, the Hesa-i-Awal Kohistan district chief, Abdulfatah Shafiq, told Pajhwok Afghan New.

Sanjani’s bodyguard, also his nephew, was wounded in the attack and rushed to the Baba Ali Hospital. He was in a stable condition, Shafiq added.
