One policeman killed, another injured in Faryab

MAIMANA (PAN): (PAN): A policeman and a rebel were killed during a clash in the Qaisar district of northern Faryab province on Friday, an official said.

The firefight erupted in Chichakto area around noon, provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Nabi Jan Mullahkhel, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Qaisar district chief, Abdul Jamil, confirmed the clash and casualties. A shepherd was killed in the gunbattle, which wounded a police.
