Soldier among 6 killed in Herat

 HERAT CITY (PAN): Five militants and an Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier were killed during a search operation in the Rabat Sangi district of western Herat province, an official said on Monday.

A notorious rebel commander, Mullah Haidar, was also among the dead, Col. Najibullah Najibi, a   spokesman for ANA 207th Zafar Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
