GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Four militants were killed and 10 others were wounded during separate clashes with security forces in southern Ghazni and central Maidan Wardak province, the Afghan military said on Saturday.
A group of armed rebels attacked a security post in Bakhtayar Khelo area of Gilan district in Ghanzi, sparking a gun-battle with security forces. The firefight left four attackers dead, the 203rd Thunder Military Corps said in a statement. Another two assailants were captured alive, it said.
The statement also said security forces clashed with insurgents in Chak district of Maidan Wardak, injuring eight rebels, including five Pakistanis.
