Kidnapped child killed in Parwan

 CHARIKAR):  A five-year-old child was killed a week after being kidnapped in central Parwan province, an official said on Saturday.

Rashad was abducted by a driver from Serai Shamali area and his captor later asked his parents for ransom. The child was killed after his father refused to pay them money.

Col. Abdul Khanan Kohistani, the provincial police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the kidnapper was captured while burying the child with the help of his friend in the the Sofian graveyard.

The victim’s body had been sent for postmortem to the forensic laboratory, he added. The detainee had confessed on his crime, the police spokesman claimed.
