Cricketers return home to rousing welcome (video)

 KABUL (PAN): The national cricket squad returned home from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to a rousing welcome on Saturday evening.

At the Kabul International Airport, government officials, the Afghan Cricket Board (ACB) chairman and scores of fans greeted the triumphant team that scored five consecutive wins over Scotland.

Skipper Mohammad Nabi Issakhel, holding aloft the cup, told Pajhwok Afghan News that after a lean patch, the team had been able to bring home laurels. Film by: Ayoub Zargai
