GHAZNI CITY/ TRINIKOT (PAN): Two Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers and three civilians were killed in two different incidents in southern Ghazni and central Uruzgan provinces on Tuesday, officials said.
The civilian were killed in a head-on-collision between a car and a truck in the Rawza area of Ghazni City, provincial traffic officer Mohammadullah Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News. The victims were car passengers.
Ghazni Civil Hospital Director Dr. Baz Mohammad Himmat confirmed receiving the bodies.
In another incident, two Afghan soldiers were killed and three others wounded when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the Charchino district of Uruzgan. The incident took place in the Yazdan area, said the district chief, Ghulam Syed Rassoul.
