KABUL): The Independent Administrative Reform & Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) on Tuesday criticised super-skilled jobs, calling for an end to the payment of such high wages.
IARCSC Chairman Ahmad Mushahid argued the super-skilled salaries had failed to produce results. “We have new a plan abolishing the system of super-skilled salaries to government employees.”
After a meeting on human resource management (HRM), he told a press conference that the system should be eliminated because it had been unable to produce quality and efficiency.
While hitting out at HRM chiefs, he suggested that instead of functioning as advisors, they should enforce law in their respective institutions and avoid pursuing their personal interests.
Nearly 3,000 of government employees have been getting super-skilled salaries ranging from $200 to $3000.
