LASHKARGAH (PAN) on Tuesday announced that some of its service members had suffered injuries in a suicide attack in southern Helmand province.
A group of insurgents blew up their explosives-laden vehicle in front of a joint military centre in the Narimanda area of Nad Ali late on Monday, the alliance said. Severral troops were wounded, some critically.
As usual, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack with the group’s spokesman, Qari Yousaf Ahmadi, saying at least 40 foreign soldiers had suffered casualties.
