2 ISAF soldiers injured in Ghor
The Afghan soldier targeted a vehicle of the Lithuanian troops late on Sunday, injuring two soldiers in the Kasi village on the outskirts of Chaghcharan, capital of Ghor province, the governor’s spokesman said.
Abdul Hai Khatibi told Pajhwok Afghan News the soldier was detained after the incident and was under interrogation.
Meanwhile, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed that an individual in an ANA uniform attacked an ISAF convoy with a rocket propelled grenade in Chaghcharan late on Sunday.
“The individual responsible for the attack was apprehended and is in Afghan custody,” a statement from the multinational troops said adding no one was killed in the incident.
Lithuania has more than 200 soldiers under command of ISAF and would leave the province during the current year.
