KHOST CITY (PAN Investment Support Agency (AISA) was launched in southeastern Khost province on Wednesday.
Governor Abdul Jabar Naeemi told the launching ceremony the three-storey building would have rooms for administration officials and a guest house. The building in Khost city, the provincial capital, is estimated to cost more than 40 million afghanis, he said.
The new AISA office would help encourage people to invest in Khost, he hoped.
The agency has been operating from a marketplace in Khost City since 2007. Naeemi said the new building would speed up and streamline the agency’s activities.
