KABUL): Two Italian soldiers were injured when a home-made bomb ripped through their vehicle in Shindand district of western Herat province on Sunday, an Iranian TV reported.
Press TV said the Taliban had claimed responsibility, saying it was part of their ‘spring offensive’.
The TV said International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) also confirmed the attack that came a day after militants fired rockets at the biggest US military base in eastern Nangarhar province
