QALAT (PAN, were killed when a roadside bomb ripped through a tractor-trolley in the Sewri district of southern Zabul early on Monday, police said.
Another four people, including two women and as many minor girls, sustained injuries in the blast that took place in the Borga area around 7am, deputy police chief Col. Ghulam Jilani Farahi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the injured had been taken to a nearby hospital, but he had no information about the extent of their injuries.
The Ministry of Interior strongly condemned the blast, blaming it on the Taliban. However, the rebels have said nothing so far about the incident.
