Zakhilwal to attend IMF-WB spring meetings
KABUL (PAN): At the head of a high level delegation, Finance Minister Hazrat Omar Zakhiwal on Monday left for Washington to attend the International Monetary Fund-World Bank semi-annual meetings popularly known as spring meetings.

"Discussions in these meetings will be to further enhance the development partnership and on assistance from donor countries to Afghanistan. Minister of Finance will also be meeting finance ministers of neighboring Pakistan and Iran on issues of mutual interest," it added.
The Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group each year bring together ministers of finance, central bankers, and development, private sector executives, and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and aid effectiveness.
