KABUL (PAN): A media advocacy group on Monday voiced its grave concern over increasing incidents of violence against journalists.
Addressing a press conference in Kabul, Nai chief Saddiqullah Tawhidi said eight incidents of violence against reporters took place in Takhar, Badakhshan, Herat and Farah provinces over the past one week, indicating a surge.
The incidents include beatings and insult, he said, adding most of the incidents were carried out by security officials.
