KABUL): Four Afghan National Army (ANA) troops and two soldiers have been killed and as many others wounded in various security incidents in different parts of the country, the Ministry of Defence said on Tuesday.

Four soldiers were killed in the incidents that occurred over the last 24 hours in Farah, Wardak, Helmand and Kandahar provinces, a brief statement from the ministry said, without giving further details.

According to another report, two policemen were killed and a third wounded when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in Ganj area of southern Ghazni province on Monday evening.

Ghazni Civil Hospital Director Dr. Baz Mohammad Himmat confirmed receiving two dead bodies and an injured policeman.

But a Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed the fighters had killed three policemen and wounded two others in the Ghazni bomb attack.
