PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): An Afghan Local Police (ALP) officer was killed in a roadside bombing in central Logar province on Tuesday, an official said.
The blast took place in the Sarsang area on the outskirts of the provincial capital, Logar police chief, Gen. Abdul Saboor Nasrati, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Saeed Abbas, the ALP officer, was killed and three of his subordinates were wounded when their vehicle struck the bomb, he added.
Resident Habibullah said three civilians were also injured in the blast, but security officials would not confirm the civilian casualties.
