US to stand with Afghans in pursuit of stability

KABUL): The United States has strongly condemned Thursday suicide bombing that killed 15 people, including six Americans, and wounded more than 40 others in Kabul.

“This senseless act of violence killed International Security Assistance Force personnel and Afghan civilians, including children,” a statement from the US embassy said.

While offering condolences to the families of the deceased and wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded, the embassy said: “Once again, we are reminded that the insurgents have a total disregard for human life.”

The US promised it would continue to stand with the Afghan people and government in the pursuit of a stable, prosperous, and democratic Afghanistan where all lives were respected.
