Senate slams Kabul suicide attack
A Taliban suicide bomber blew himself up at the entrance to the Supreme Court in the nation’s heavily-fortified capital on Tuesday, killing 17 civilians and wounding 39 others.
There is no justification for such an attack on civilians, including women and children, a statement from the Senate said. The enemies of Afghanistan launched such attacks at the behest of outsiders, he alleged.
The Meshrano Jirga asked Muslim world to find an effective way of preventing such plots against the Afghan nation, the statement added.
