3,250 kg of explosives seized in Nangarhar

The intelligence personnel also seized a large quantity of ammunitions from a vehicle in Jalalabad, the provincial capital. A man was rescued from his kidnappers in Surkhrod district, the statement added. One suspected kidnapper was detained. 

In western Herat province, a drug laboratory was destroyed in Kohsan district. An Iranian citizen was detained with dozens of kilograms of drugs produced by the lab, the provincial police chief told reporters.
