KABUL): Four Nepalese citizens were wounded, not killed, in Tuesday’s suicide attack on a private logistics firm’s office in Kabul, a news report said on Wednesday.

Three Indians and a Briton were killed in the assault on the firm’s office on the eastern outskirts of Kabul, the foreign ministries in New Delhi and London said.

At least two Afghan civilians were among those killed in the truck bombing, followed by gunfire, the latest in a series of brazen insurgent strikes in the high-security neighbourhood.

A group of suicide attackers targeted a base the company that provides logistics services to NATO-led troops. The office is located in the Dispatchery area of the 9th police district.

One of the bombers blew himself up at the entrance to the heavily-fortified building and the rest trading intense gunfire with security guards.

Nepal’s embassy in Islamabad, which also oversees diplomatic affairs with Afghanistan, said the Nepalese injured in the attack were currently receiving medical treatment. The Himalaya Times reported previous reports about the workers’ killing were wrong.
