KABUL): A man was killed and two other people were injured during a clash over a piece of land in the 12th police district of Kabul, officials said on Thursday.
The hour-long clash on the eastern outskirts of Kabul between Sher Shah and Nawroz ended after intervention from police, the district police head said.
Col. Mohammad Arif Amin told Pajhwok Afghan News one man was killed and two others were wounded in the fire exchange. Police arrested nine armed men from both sides, he added.
Sher Shah accused Nawroz of attacking his men due to the dispute over 117.5 acres of land. One of his unarmed men was wounded in the clash and was in critical condition, he claimed.
