ISAF committed to Afghan stability: Dunford
On Thursday morning, The Taliban forced the workers from their vehicle and then executed them on the outskirts of Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital.
"This senseless and brutal killing of eight innocent men is unconscionable and barbaric. They were simply on the way to work to provide for their families," said Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, the ISAF commander.
“The oppression, fear, murder and intimidation campaign of the Taliban has no place in Afghanistan's future," he said in a statement from the multinational forces.
