JALALABAD (PAN): A bomb blast left three people injured near a square in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Tuesday, police said.
The explosives had been planted in the gate of a house belonging to a Hindu, said the deputy police chief, Col. Masoom Khan Hashmi, who put the number of the injured at two – a woman and a man.
The house gate and a car were damaged in the blast.
However, the civil hospital director, Dr. Hamayun Zaheer, confirmed they had been delivered three injured people from the scene, saying they were in stable condition.
A resident, Rasikh, said the woman injured worked at the Hindu’s house. He confirmed three people were injured in the blast.
