KABUL tomorrow (Wednesday), officials said.

Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries spokesman Faizi confirmed the visit, saying it was aimed to sort out bilateral trade tiffs and enhance business cooperation between the neighbours. However, he had no further details.

In Pakistan, PAJCCI President Mohammad Zubair Motiwala told reporters the five-day visit of the Afghan trade delegation would provide an opportunity to the two sides to interact on transforming bilateral economic deals.

Businessmen from construction and allied industries, food, agriculture, auto, plastics, electronics, textile and service (legal) sectors are part of the team that will attend a business-to-business match-making meeting with Pakistani counterparts on Sept. 28.

Motiwala said the visiting delegation would also participate in the four-day ‘Expo Pakistan’, beginning from Sept. 26. The chamber will have its booth at the trade fair. The international chamber seeks to ensure economic stability and enhance prospect for bilateral relations.

During the trip, PAJCCI will also have its 5th board meeting in which members will deliberate on feedback from stakeholders across the border on the transit trade agreement of 2010.
