30 injured as tractor trolley overturns

JALALABAD (PAN): Thirty people were injured when a tractor trolley overturned in the Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Wednesday.

Men, women and children were among the 70 passengers travelling in the tractor trolley, which skidded off the road in Ador area on Tuesday evening, district hospital head, Dr. Noor Agha, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Most of the injured were women and children, he said, adding four of the wounded were in critical condition.

One local security official said the individuals were on their way home from a wedding ceremony. The victims belonged to a Kochi tribe.
