Suicide attack organiser killed in drone attack
KABUL/ISLAMABAD (PAN): An individual blamed for suicide organising assaults in Kabul was killed during a US drone strike in Waziristan of neighboring Pakistan, the Afghan spy service said on Thursday.
According to the source, Jan had claimed responsibility for attacks on United State’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) office, Intercontinental Hotel, the traffic police department, etc.
Meanwhile, Pakistani officials said a compound in the Tal area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu district came under US drone attack at around 5am on Thursday.
Iftikhar Khan, a police official, said six people had been killed in the raid on a madrasa for Afghan refugees. Maulvi Hamidullah and Maulvi Ahmad Jan were among the dead.
