KABUL): One Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier was killed and 10 people were wounded in two separate blasts in southeastern Khost province on Saturday, officials said.
The blasts took place in the Faiz Mohammad Khan square of Khost City at 4:30 pm when a convoy of ANA was crossing the area, the governor’s office said in a statement.
It added said the soldier was killed and two civilians were injured in the first explosion. When security personnel arrived at the scene, another bomb went off, leaving three policemen wounded.
