Seminar on police neutrality during polls
A statement issued by the ministry said a number of parliamentarians, civil society activists and foreign delegates are attending the seminar.
The event would help district police commanders improve their capacity and get raining how to be impartial during the landmark elections.
Deputy Interior Minister for Administration Maj. Gen Ekramuddin Yawar, said the ministry identified an impartial police force during the elections a priority.
Lawmakers, who attended the police seminar, appreciated the interior ministry for asking the police to stay neutral during the elections process, the statement said.
It added United Nations officials at the seminar called improvements the Afghan police force had achieved so far as significant and vowed their support.
