Sahib Khan, the Unity Group head, informed the lower house the body would stoutly defend people’s rights and make efforts to discourage ethnic and linguistic biases.
“Our group will do whatever it can to rid Afghanistan of regional and linguistic biases,” Khan said, adding that the body was comprised of 18 parliamentarians.
Public representative from Kandahar Mullah Syed Mohammad Akhund and lawmaker from Parwan Samia Aziz are respectively the group’s deputy chief and secretary.
