3 Afghan refugees dead in Peshawar blast
The remote-controlled bomb ripped through a rickshaw the Afghans were travelling in on Tuesday night, Dawn quoted a local police officer.
Yasin Khan, in charge of the Badaber police station, said the explosives were being taken to the Pando Chowk area of the city. The dead were refugees and the six injured were both Pakistani and Afghan nationals, he said.
Zahid Khan, an official of the bomb disposal squad, reckoned up to eight kilograms of explosives were used in the blast. The casualties were evacuated to Lady Reading Hospital.
