KABUL) was hit by a magnet bomb in the 10th police district of Kabul on Saturday night, a security official said.
The explosion happened at the entrance to Camp Eggers near the Zanbaq Square at 7.45pm, the official told Pajhwok Afghan News on condition of anonymity.
He had no information regarding casualties, saying security personnel had cordoned off the area.
In response to an emailed query from Pajhwok, the NATO-led forced verified the explosion. “Initial reporting does not indicate any ISAF casualties.”
The alliance said ISAF and Afghan forces were in the process of assessing the extent of the damage.
