KABUL Twenty20 Cup both scheduled to be held in Bangladesh, an official said.
Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) spokesman Farid Hotak told Pajhwok Afghan News the probables had been picked by the board’s selection committee keeping in view their ability and form.
He said the preliminary squad would leave for Sari Lanka tomorrow (Thursday) to attend a month-long training camp there. Indian and Sari Lankan coaches would be available to train the Afghans in all departments of the game, he said.
Hotak said the final 15-member squad for the two mega events would be named after the end of the training camp.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has decided that Bangladesh would host the Asia Cup as scheduled in Feb-March and the ICC World Twenty-20, despite a political turmoil in the country.
