In the Khwazai area of Lalpura district, three fighters were detained and weapons recovered during a security operation, the police spokesman said. The detainees including a local militant leader are under investigation.

“During a crackdown in Khogyani district the other day, Afghan security forces killed five Talibaninfo-icon,” Mashriqiwal said, claiming two rocket launchers, two Kalashnikovs and ammunitions were seized.
